I am licensed USCG Captain with over 29 years of nautical experience operating as a Mate, Captain and Coxswain. As a member of the US Armed Forces I have served In the US Coast Guard for 5 years up and down the East Coast of the US as well as on the Great Lakes. There I was involved in countless Search and Rescue operations as well as Maritime Law Enforcement operations. I am presently serving on active duty in the US Navy as a “Seabee” involved in worldwide disaster recovery, contingency operations and worldwide construction projects.

I come from a military family and have had the fortune to travel the world my entire life. This has allowed me to fish and SCUBA dive many of the great waters of the world! A great portion of my youth was spent in Upstate New York chasing such Game fishes as Walleye, Musky, Northern Pike, Bass, Salmon and Trout as well as numerous other species of fishes. Throughout my military career I have spent many wonderful hours chasing (and catching) the wonderful game fishes found in the native waters of the Mid-Atlantic such as Marlin, Mahi, King Mackerel Tuna and Amberjack as well as many others. My love is the Chesapeake Bay with its Flounder, Striped Bass, Spade Fish, Cobia, Croaker, Spot, Trout and again the many fishes to numerous to list…

I am a light hearted "bloke" whom enjoys helping others catch fish as much as catching them myself. I particularly enjoy the rewards of taking kids fishing.
